Herky's 4th Birthday

Today is my sweet boy's 4th birthday! I still can remember the first time I saw him when I picked him up from the airport looking quite tiny tucked back in his kennel. I swear it was love at first sight. He melted my heart then and he continues to every single day. He has brought so much joy to my life and I love him SO very much! 

To celebrate, we went for a very long walk this morning around town. David and I took him down to the boardwalk by the river to enjoy his doggy birthday cake that I got him. He absolutely loved the cake and the walk! We even made a few friends along the way. He of course got another good walk in the evening followed by lots of evening cuddles and kisses!
